Memory Atlas catalogs the six forms of human memory disappearing fastest in the 21st century — oral tradition, dialect, craft skill, ritual, neighborhood knowledge, body knowledge — and is honest about what each of them can and cannot survive in text. Some can; most cannot. Five things Memory Atlas will not do.记忆图谱不会做的五件事。

  • No "archived = preserved" fiction. A recording of a dialect is not the dialect; a video of a ritual is not the ritual. The atlas distinguishes archival possibility from lived continuity.不做"已归档 = 已保存"的虚构。一种方言的录音不是方言；一段仪式的录像不是仪式。图谱把可归档性与活体延续区分开。
